I'm going to list the springs on Craigslist for $200. Car is 5x4.75" bolt pattern, and I am thinking of keeping it that way. If not, I still have the 18" Enkei's, but I am not sure if they will fit the car even if it's 5x5".

Thanks O.. Let me know if you know somebody interested in the lift springs. I'd rather have them out of my way than get top dollar..

Mike,

I like the stance.
HORSEPOWER - is how fast you hit the wall.
TORQUE - is how far you move the wall when you hit it.

Mike:

If you get this before you head out to Hamilton, grab that sway bar, I'll get it from you when I come for the control arms today.

No major updates on the car, just gathering parts. It's been sitting for the last 2 weeks. Been raging on clearing bamboo from my yard and other projects. Changed out the front tire on my bike last night, and smashed myself in the mouth with a fist full of tire iron.. that felt AWESOME..
Other honey-do things took precedence. Wife has been asking me to fix the outdoor fireplace. According to Crate and Barrel, it was hand crafted by Mexican Artisans.. whatever. What I do know is that the bottom of it was made of 22 guage steel, and rotted out in 2 years. I upgraded to 14 guage. I guess if you have a Honey-do list, picking one that requires welding and plasma cutting is pretty fun.

I also had to replace the drive belt on the attic fan, which snowballed into insulating the attic access panel, and making up something to keep the insulation from avalanching out of the opening whenever you open the panel.

I did pick up the redrilled axle shafts 2 weeks ago, they are collecting dust quite nicely in the shop.
Need to order wheel studs this week.
I plan to drop in new outer bearings on the axle, and I think I am going to run the 3.08 and worn posi for now.
I ordered some of the TSB rear lower control arms, so I'll be ready for a rear sway bar when I find one.
I am going to run the drum brakes from the 79 axle for now. From everything I have researched, they should bolt up. Time will tell for sure though. I'll save the hi-falooting rear brakes (aka discs) for later.

That's about it.

Hey Mike,

Good to see you yesterday. I hope that front 9C1 sway bar fits ok. What years do the Rear Control arm kit fit? I want to sell them on Ebay and I need to know how far back they will fit?

They should fit all the way back to 1977 and up to 1996. I'll let you know how they fit on my 79 after this weekend if everything goes well.
