Best Navigation?

Postby PREDATOR » Mon Feb 08, 2010 9:51 am

So I won the bet I had with my wife on the Super Bowl, but I am taking the money and buying her a portable navigation device. I either use my phone or the Pioneer N-5 in my Jeep, she is not very tech. savvy so the radio is out. I am looking to spend around $100.00 to $125.00 if that will get me what I am looking for.

Just make sure you don't get the one Don has to avoid driving through areas where Deliverance might have been filmed.. :)..

And, kudos for the gracious husbandry.... You know she would have gone for a mani-pedi with the $$ if she won..

What part of "Quickest Route" don't you understand. :D Total drive time down to Atlanta was shorter than the trip home. And you got to see a scenic part of the country that most people miss when they drive US-75 all the way.

I kid I kid!!! I do admit for all the ribbing there is NO WAY we would have made that route with a map without screwing up a few turnoffs..

No trailers next time.. or we offload temporarily and let the cars run.. maybe send the trailers down 75, and old call them up to the back woods if one of us overcooks a turn..

Sincerely:
Somebody that really hopes he gets something cool together for the next trip.. .like my 53..

So this is what I ended up with on ebay: 280462387838. Its a TOMTOM GO 720 CAR GPS w/ 4.3" LCD TOM US/CAN MAP+ EXTRA, is this what you have Don?

I figure a set of roller blades, or those body blades would be the whip for next time! I have some of my biker buddies already planning their trip to the dragons tail this summer. Now that would be most cool, cruiser, Tequila some good food and sun shine? Pleeeaaaaaase!
