This thread will contain all info about the plans for the car. This will be my project log for you guys to follow. Enjoy Misslers.


Whats up guys, over the weekend i got in touch with Glenn who was more than willing to let us use his trailer. I was also in touch with a guy in Lapeer, his name is Spencer, he has joined on here a while ago and never got around to posting, but he was looking for a car for his girlfriend. It started as a joke and next thing you know we made an agreement. I traded my 90 Regal for his 86 Camaro Iroc. The car, as it sits, has 74k original miles, all windows in great condition, power everything, 99% rust free, and needs a fender. Car also has 1.5 inch spacers to fit the 4th gen Z28 wheels on it. I dont like the rims and will be looking to trade them for something different. Interior is fairly clean, nothing to complain about. Car had a 305 carb'd motor, but will be getting a mildly built 350. Will also be looking for a posi rear end, and a couple other things.Car also came with a pair of headers, flowmaster exhaust, and new t-top seals. Again i say thanks to Glenn who was willing to let somebody he barely knew, use his trailer with no questions. Now to the pics

Depending on how long it takes to build the motor, in the next 4-5 months. If i get a job before then, 2-3 months. The motor is basically done but my dad wants to go ahead and do bearings and rings to be on the safe side since its a used motor

new paint, tinted out, chrome 18" IROC'S, and it will be killer. I might pick up a set of 24" IROC's if the price is right. Can't go wrong with the chrome iroc's

Back window is getting tinted. Not sure about the irocs though. they are nice but we are going to try out some Weld Racing rims. This will be a street/track car

sweet deal. If you haven't check the lower quarters from the trunk. They love to rust there.
I miss my 87 iroc, had her for too short of a time. :(

Nice score.... ya know, I have a killer 383 that would put the Roc in IROC.... but you might need 2 yobs to cover the bill.. then a 3rd job to cover the tickets.

I didn't realize that Camaro's got FireChicken steering wheels :D

Lol Firechicken FTW!!!! I'll be getting a different steering wheel and different rims and tires. Anybody need 4th gen z28 rims? Lol ill keep the center caps though for my dad ss wheels. Yea they say camaro but whatever they fit. And fwd does suck.

Alright so i've been wrenching on this almost all week and im its looking good. We are looking into all new suspension components, since i plan on running this thing hard down the track. The motor and trans are almost out, just a few bolts left and a set of hands short lol. Should be out either Thursday or Friday, we'll see. Eventually after we decide on what we want to buy for the car, i will make a list on here for everyone to see. Have some more pics for everyone.

My plans are to make a custom intake kit that pulls all of the air through the 2 openings on the from fascia.

yep they guy i got it from is supposed to come get the motor and trans tomorrow. Wont be making the meeting, not sure as of yet, have a family member in the hospital. I will hopefully have the motor and trans out today, and i will post more pics of the empty bay and underneath the car as well. Its clean under there :D

well we got the motor/trans out. The trans looks like it hasnt been there too long. Its pretty clean. So were going to buy that from him. like my dad said. I will need a 700r4 to make up for the gas guzzler under the hood lol

Alright, well turns out were going to buy the motor and trans for $350. Not a bad price considering the trans is fresh, even though the motor is shot. And of course we decided to buy the motor and trans AFTER we pulled it all out. If we knew we were going to buy it from the guy, well, it would have stayed in the car and been fixed, Owell more power!
